Wordbab strictly verbot
cause gunners need silence
to heatstrap dissed targets.
Ethnopop groups scan
day blat resource vats,
sunning midgather fruits
deradiated before sharing.
Streettraf moves linear,
wasting natural reserves
of the remaining atmo.
Oxytherapists decline trankheads,
resisting pubserve demands
to detox mindbend.

Future Hope by Gary Beck
Someday of visions
we shall see
wondrous towers
of marvelous construction
rising from the rubble
of neglected cities,
sheltering our people
from casual destruction

Catch of the Day by Gary Beck
He died in disunity
crying,
we shall never wake again
and never look upon
regiments of lustful eyes
casting like fishermen,
urgent to take you home
and cook you for their mothers

Prey by Gary Beck
Birds of unsoft eyes
flown by women with thin beaks
and sharp tongues,
swoop down upon our weakness,
as silent as surgeons
entering flesh.

e Equals.... by Gary Beck
Adrift in the chaotic universe,
I urgently need to maintain control
of some elements of existence
that challenge my trivial power.
As my planet speeds through its orbit,
I barely cling to the surface,
pressured by every kind of force,
especially that of gravity.
I fear eco-disaster everywhere,
see man's best creations wasted in war,
yet precisely align my dresser drawers,
in a mostly futile effort
to establish a sense of order.
