Dike' Okoro is a poet, short story writer, essayist, and sculptor. His poems, essays, and short stories have appeared in anthologies and literary journals/magazines in Norway, Britain, South Africa and the Americas. He is the author of the poetry collection, Dance of the Heart (ABC/MSU Press 2007) and the editor of the poetry anthologies, Songs for Wonodi (ABC/MSU Press 2007) and Echoes from the Mountain (ABC/MSU Press 2007).
This is so haunting in so little words...I absolutely love the metaphor of the river collecting shadows; it's so dark, yet soft and blurred, like life itself

A Haunting poem...
